Business District Review

I was as excited as could be when hubby Jon brought me a copy of a new Austin Business District magazine. This was “The Real Estate Issue,” and it was great. The magazine is what Austin’s been needing. Articles on Beau Theriot and his”Oasis,” “Emotional Intelligence” by Nancy Schill, and one on the lure of the Downtown Lifestyle are up to the minute and make some important yet undersold points. Specifically, I was happy to read this: “Austin area employment was projected to grow at 5.7% during each of the next 6 years,” “The quality of life & the focus on clean industries…make it an ideal community for the next decade,” and Austin “has only a 6% coverage of sub-prime loans…and one of the hottest job markets in the country.” Good news, folks, good news!
